100% BASS – Special  Mercury Future Pro Rules for 2007

These Rules are in effect from Jan1, 2007 thru Dec 31, 2007

1) Participants and Eligibility: No team or individual will be allowed to fish if they individually or collectively have won more than $3000 during a given season.  Also, any team that is found to be a highly qualified team based on points races (top 5 in the angler of the year races) of any other circuit may be asked to fish at the regular team level and not participate in the future pro events. Final decision of all contestants being allowed to participate will be at the tournament directors’ discretion.

2) Eligibility – Any  angler who has qualified for any Pro Championship (100% BASS, B.A.S.S., F.L.W.,EVERSTART, WESTERN BASS, or W.O.N.)  in the past 10 years is ineligible to fish as an amateur on the 100% BASS tour.

3) Boat and Motors: each event will be divided into horsepower divisions.  Each division will compete only within their own division.
Division 1 will be engines with horsepower ratings between 0 and 90 horsepower.
Division 2 will be engines greater than 90 horsepower.
All boats in Future Pro events must be a minimum of 12 feet long.

4) Start of Tournament: A random draw will be done to determine the starting boat in each Division,
 with Division #1 boats always being allowed to start first. 

5) Limit – During all Future Pro events, teams will only weigh in 5 fish for the days catch. 

6) Trophies and Awards:  Payback for all events will be in cash and will be based on a 1 in 5 format with trophies going to the top 5
 in the large boat category and the top 3 in the small boat category. 

7) Participation in both Future and regular team events. As long as a team meets the requirement for Future Pro’s they may participate in both the Regular teams and the Future Pro events. When these events fall on the the same day and the same lake, A team will be permitted to have 5 fish in the live wells. Allowing them to weigh in for both events. 

8) TOC:  The TOC will be a separate event, to be held at the end of the season, in conjunction with the regular team where the future pro’s are eligible to win the boat given away to the overall winner of the event. All other Future Pro money will be kept separate. A minimum of 30 teams in the Large Boat category and the top 5 in the Small Boat category will Qualify for the TOC. 100% BASS reserves the right to invite more teams based upon participation levels during the season. The TOC will be funded by a 25% holdback of the payout at each tournament throughout the regular season.
