100% BASS Press Release 4/7/07 - Easter Weekend Draws Anglers to Pine Flat Lake for Encizo & Mathews The Big Valley Region held it’s 4th Tournament of the season at Pine Flat Lake on 4/7/07. The weather was fantastic & so was the fishing. We had 49 Teams with 40 Teams weighing in 5 fish limits. Fish were caught on a variety of baits on the Main Lake. 1st Place went to the Team of Ralph Encizo & Jeff Mathews of Fresno. They had BIG FISH of the Tournament weighing a WHOPPING 13.71 LBS. They had a total weight of 27.04 lbs. Winning them a total of $6072.00. They fished Main Lake using Swim Baits. Sponsored by Valley Cycle & Marine, Skeeter Boats, Yamaha, Buff This Miracle Mist, Pro Worms, & Valley Rod & Gun. 2nd Place went to the Team of Chris Aldrete & Nick Gong of Dinuba. They had a total weight of 14.82 lbs. Winning them a total of $1068.00. They fished Sycamore all day in 20-30 ft water on steep walls using Texas Rig & Darter Head 6” Aaron Magic purple worms. 3rd Place went to the Team of Duane Daily of Dinuba and Keith Wilson of Visalia. They had a total weight of 11.91 lbs. Winning them a total of $1775.00. They sight fished Main Lake & River using Jigs. They are sponsored by Keeper Worms. 4th Place went to the Team of Gary Scott & Tray Williams with a weight of 11.62 lbs. Winning them a total of $1265.00. 5th Place was won by Martin Dehaven & Leroy Bibb with a total weight of 11.34 lbs. winning them $925.00. Congratulations to all for fishing our
