02/09/2008 - FANTASTIC WEATHER for 2^ND STOP of the YEAR in VALLEY REGION 

The Big Valley Region held it’s 2^nd Tournament of the year at Pine Flat Lake on February 9^th. We had 55 Teams with 50 Teams weighing in & 38 Teams weighed in 5 Fish Limits. The weather was Great and the Bite was GOOD! 

1^st Place went to the Team of Bryan Shishido of Lindsay & Steve Salcedo of Exeter with a total weight of 11.30 lbs. Big  Fish of the Tournament weighing 4.07 lbs. winning them a total of $5436.00. They caught their fish in the upper end of the river in 5-20 ft . of water using Yamamoto, Senkos and Hula Grubs. They are sponsored by Gary Yamamoto. 

2^nd Place went to the Team of  Jeff D’Alessandro  & Tim Wells of Clovis with a total weight of 8.42 lbs. winning them a total of $2838.00. They fished in the Main Lake shaking Bassectomy Lures. They are sponsored by Coast to Coast Sealcoating, Bassectomy &  Valley Rod & Gun. 

3^rd Place went to the Team of Lyn Dillon and Rod Cree. They had a total weight of 8.09 lbs. winning them a total of $1638.00. They fished in the Main Lake shaking & slow rolling swim baits & Dart Heads.  

4^th Place went to the Father & Son Team, Sluggo Miller & Shane Miller of Porterville. They had a total weight of 7.72 lbs. winning them a total of $1031.00. 5^th Place was won by Rod Burns & Denny Bowlin with a total weight of 7.63 lbs. winning them a total of  $733.00. 

Congratulations to all and hope to see you at our Millerton Tournament March 8^th. Sign-Ups will start at 4:30 a.m. at Millerton Lake (Fresno Side).
